More work on the Roundhouse

Club member Basil Casabona continues to apply his talents to finishing installing the windows and doors on shed #1 and #2 of the roundhouse. We agreed that working on the east side of shed #2 would “fool” the visitor coming into the layout into thinking a lot more windows and doors have been installed than is actually is the case.

As I indicated in a prior post I sloshed too much paint on the roundhouse when getting it ready for installation. So, before installation of each window – there are thee pieces to each – Basil has to “clean up” the window frame by removing the excess slosh. He also has to sand each edge of each piece of window to ensure that they all fit together. Click any photo to see full size.
